Did we mention we like wine? Temecula is always on our Bucket List. Temecula so far is more affordable and an easy drive from Arizona then Napa and in our opinion, we enjoy the wine even more. We decided to attend the CRUSH Wine and Culinary Showcase with neighbors and friends, and enjoy the wonderful creations from local restaurants all while sipping Temecula wines along with meeting the winery owners and winemakers. This year’s date for the CRUSH festival is September 28, 2019, with tickets going on sale in July. We rented a beautiful 4-bedroom home from VRBO. The home was over the top with a beautiful pool and spa. The sunsets were absolutely gorgeous, while sitting on the patio. While in Temecula we stopped at several of our favorite wineries; Doffo, Europia Village, Falkner and Wilson Creek. There are almost 40 wineries in Temecula, check out the list on Temecula Wineries. Early one morning we decided a hot air balloon trip over the vineyards was in order (booked in advance), as this would be our second one, we did in Temecula. We choose a different company to compare the two. Both companies were very good and ranged in price from approximately $160-$200 per person. I have provided the Hot Air Balloon companies we used under Balloon Companies. On occasion you can find a Groupon for the balloon rides. The balloon ride is a must do, it was so peaceful and quiet floating over the vineyards.

Temecula has so many great things to do. As well as the wineries they have a great collection of breweries!
